The U.S. Postal Service celebrated that tradition with its Botanical Art (Plant Art) Forever stamps—featuring 10 vintage floral designs drawn from American nursery and seed catalogs printed between 1891 and 1912. The design details are courtesy of New York Botanical Garden, whose Nursery and Seed Catalog Collection helped preserve these classic illustrations.

Issued January 29, 2016 in Atlanta, the stamps were released as First-Class Mail Forever stamps, with the artwork presented across ten different floral selections for a bright, vintage garden feel on every envelope.
